Each year over 100 community members partner with the farm to share in whatever the season brings.

Fall Harvest BasketWhat You'll Get...

Our goal is to put together a simple arrangement of vegetables that reflects the local seasons and balances different categories while introducing new items when possible. We select varieties for their flavor and vigor in organic and unique cool climate conditions in the coast range. Boxes generally feed a 2 –4 person vegetarian household although about ¼ of our membership decide to split their boxes with other households. Most folks can’t use all the items all the time, so our Trade-in box at the drop spots is a handy way to donate to other members what you don’t like or can’t use, or conversely, bring home something someone else left. The farm also adds extras to that box as well.

Leafy Greens
Baby Greens Mixes, Lettuces, Spinach, Cabbage, Bok Choy, Kale, Swiss Chard

Roots
Carrots, Potatoes, Radishes, Beets, Turnips

Brassicas
Broccoli, Cauliflower

Vegetables
Zucchini, Tomatoes, Green Beans, Cukes, Sweet Corn, Peas, Winter Squash, Eggplant, Bell Peppers, Cayennes

Alliums & Herbs
Basil, Cilantro, Parsley, Dill, Fennel, Celery
Onions, Scallions, Garlic, Leeks

Members receive discounts on specific items at our Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday Farmer’s Market stand. Although production is not a guarantee, in the years we have been offering the CSA program, the value of the content of the boxes is a fair savings compared to Farmer’s Market prices and a considerable savings from retail organics.

In their own words, here’s what our members have experienced from our boxes:

The vegetables: “wonderful, fresh, organic, wholesome, clean, healthy, cared for, and beautiful.”

The pleasures: “sharing with friends, eating more vegetables than they would otherwise, trying new things, convenience, not having to choose, connecting to the land and the farm and caring for natural resources.”
